Leadership Prep School

Lottery
2013 - 2014 Lottery Results, Rules and Regulations

If the number of eligible applicants does not exceed the number of vacancies, then all qualified applicants who have timely applied will be offered admission. If there are more eligible applicants than available spaces in a class, then a lottery will be conducted at a time set by the administration each year when required by State and Federal law. A name (or number assigned to a name) will be drawn for each vacancy that exists, and each applicant whose name is drawn will be offered admission. Official admission lists will be posted on the school website. Those admitted will receive an admission packet that must be returned by the given deadline. Failure to return a completed admission packet will cause the forfeit of his/her position in the application process. The remaining names from the lottery will then be drawn and placed on a waiting list in the order in which they were drawn. If a vacancy arises before the commencement of the Leadership Prep year, the individual on the waiting list with the lowest number assignment will be offered admission and then removed from the waiting list. If an application is received after the application period has passed, the applicant’s name will be added to the waiting list behind the names of the applicants who timely applied.
EXCEPTIONS
Federal guidelines permit the school to exempt students already admitted, siblings of students already admitted, children of the charter’s founders, and children of teachers.

Please note: The "unpublished" designation on the following lists are for those who chose not to have their name(s) publicized. These individuals must call the school office to receive their placement information.
