Welcome
  • Welcome to my classroom. I am so excited to start this new journey with you. One thing that I know for sure is that the 2020-2021 school year is not going to be like any other. I am from Nederland, Texas.  I graduated high school in 2002. Following high school I attended Lamar State College Port Arthur and Lamar Institute of Technology where I studied business. In December of 2019 I graduated from Western Govenors Univeristy, where I got my degree in Special Education. Currently, I am working on completing my Masters Degree from Western Govenors Univeristy. This is my secound year teaching, and my first year teaching at LPS. I taught Algebra II and Algebric Reasoning at Texas Leadership Charter Academy in San Angelo. Prior to working in education I was a business owner and a paralegal.

I am married to my wonderful husband, who is a disabled Air Force Veteran. I have four children two boys and two girls (Bryson, Audrey, Eva and Carl). We have a cat named Dingous. We enjoy the outdoors and spending family time together.

Math is my favorite subject, and I am very excited to be teaching Financial Leadership.
