Mrs. Renee Dicus

I am so excited to start another year at LPS in the Special Education department as Elementary Special Ed teacher.  I feel blessed to have the opportunity to bring creative lesson plans and explore new ways of teaching Language Arts and Math to our kids.

 A little bit about myself:

I graduated from Dallas Christian College in ’92 and obtained my teaching certification in 2009.  I’m certified to teach EC-6 and have certifications in Special Ed, ESL and training in GT.

My husband Bruce and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this January and we have 2 amazing daughters and son-in-laws – Emily and Justin, Megan and Josiah. With both daughters graduated and married, we added a new border collie mix puppy to keep things “interesting”.  In my spare time I enjoy crafting, spending time with family and serving at our church.

I look forward to another great year!

Ms. Casey Lagesse

Hi! I am so excited for my first year teaching to be back at LPS! I previously have been an academic coach at LPS as well as a paraprofessional in Prosper ISD.

I grew up in Tyler, TX and attended Stephen F. Austin as a music major after high school graduation. After some detours, I graduated from Texas A&M - Commerce with my bachelors degree in organizational leadership. I immediately began my Master's program in Special Education which included my teaching certification.

My daughter attended LPS from grades 1-4 and absolutely thrived in the leadership environment. We enjoy everything outdoors and love planning our next road trip. We have a 9 year old dog who is loving his new, giant backyard in Anna, TX. I can't wait to work with all my new and old friends this next school year!

  • Academic Coaches

We would like to introduce ourselves as the Academic Coaches here at LPS. We are excited to be a part of your child's everyday growing and learning experience!  We are here to help and guide your child to be responsible, respectful and successful leaders in and out of the classroom.  We will work daily to assist our students, teachers and staff to make each and every day a positive learning environment!!  We are overjoyed for this school year to begin and look forward to having a positive impact on each and every one of our students!
